Junior Achievement

Students who have an interest in business are encouraged to check out Junior Achievement. JA Fellows are taking applications now and space is limited. Here is a little bit more about the program.

As a JA Fellow, high school students develop the assets that will set them apart when competing for scholarships, in college, & beyond including:
  • Leadership
  • Team Building & Collaboration
  • Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship
  • Business Etiquette
  • Communication & Networking Skills
The program offers a unique opportunity for self-motivated high school students to gain in-depth, hands-on experience that helps them become tomorrow's entrepreneurs and leaders. Students meet once a week for two hours with a group of their peers to pursue bold, ambitious goals. They gain valuable insight on financial literacy and the free-enterprise system, and are able to interact with prominent business, community & civic leaders that will help them gain access to internship and scholarship opportunities. Oh yeah, and did we mention you get paid to be a part of the program? Source
