National Poetry Month - Maya Angelou and Common

April is National Poetry month and as a school we've been celebrating by reciting a poem a day for the entire month and to close out the month it might be good to listen to the thoughts of some modern day poets. As we all know, Hip Hop is the evolution of poetry, but we also want to make sure we're not forgetting the essence of the craft.
